We sell time sensitive and seasonal merchandise. For this reason we have a no return/no exchange policy like most other websites that sell prom and evening dresses. We will accept returns or exchanges on all Alex Evenings styles with a style number ending in W or M within 30 days of purchase. Store credit will be issued on Alex Evenings styles with a style number ending in W or M that are returned after 30 days.

To make sure you choose the correct dress size, we recommend you consult the designer’s size chart which is listed on each product page. If you are between sizes, we recommend purchasing the larger size as it is easy to have a dress taken in but it is very difficult if not impossible to let a dress out that is too tight. You should also choose your size based on your largest measurement. If based on the size chart, your bust measurement is a 6, your waist is a 4, and your hips are a 2, you should purchase the size 6.

In the unlikely event you receive a dress that was shipped in error or is damaged, please call us at 646-370-1900 or email us at so we can process your exchange for the same style, size and color. Please note that images may be requested for dresses identified as damaged.

Packages returned without authorization will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.



If a wrong shipping option was selected (e.g. you live in Australia and you select the USA shipping option), we will adjust the order and charge the correct shipping fee.
All shipping, handling and credit card transaction fees that we incur on orders with the wrong address and on refused or cancelled orders are non-refundable. If an order ships to an address that you provided and is returned to us as undeliverable, we will charge a new ship fee to resend the order.

For Calito dress purchases only – If you live in the US, we will add an additional $12 to your shipping fee to cover the cost of international shipping. If you qualify for free ground shipping, you will still be charged $12 to cover the international portion of the shipping.

Pre-orders are orders placed on merchandise that is not in stock for immediate delivery but will be shipped at the date indicated on the site or via email. By placing a pre-order, you will be receive your order once the item becomes available. In order to reserve the item for you, your card will be charged in full at the time of the pre-order. All pre-orders are final sale and cannot be cancelled.

UPS charges a $10 fee for address changes or corrections. If an address change is requested or made by UPS for an order that has already shipped, the $10 UPS fee will be charged.

While we strive to insure that all pricing information is accurate, we are not obligated to honor a price that was listed incorrectly.

Please note that dresses may not be picked for shipment for 1-2 days. Please allow 1-2 additional days for your order to arrive.
