3. Post Office

You can now return items via the Post Office, please see below for a step by step guide:

  1. Only parcels that weigh 3 kg (6.6lbs) or less and do not exceed 610mm x 460mm x 460mm (24inches x 18inches x 18inches) in size can be returned via the Post Office.
  2. Please tick the item(s) that you are returning on the Returns Form found on your delivery note.
  3. Put these items in the correct original packaging. Ensure items are packed securely to prevent loss of items or any damages.
  4. Put the Reason Return code onto the sticky label found on your item(s). A list can be found on the Return Reason area. Write the Return Reason code (e.g. 56) in the yellow boxes provided. Repeat this step for each item you are returning.
  5. Please ensure items are packed securely and that your Returns Form is also enclosed.
  6. Please complete your name and address on the Post Office label (within your parcel) or download here, cut out the label and attach it securely to the parcel.
  7. Please take your parcel to your local Post Office. The Post Office will provide you with a receipt of posting which you should retain for your own records. THIS IS YOUR RECEIPT. Any missing parcel claims will not be valid if you do not have this receipt.

Returns MUST be securely sealed , complete, unused, in original packaging and returned within 14 days.

Please note that should you decide not to use our mail order returns service utilising the prepared Royal Mail returns label, we cannot be held liable for any items lost on their way back to us.

Returning Goods Without A Delivery Note

If you have lost your delivery note you can access your order history by using the ‘My Account‘ facility online. Enclose the information from the relevant order in your return parcel- remember to include the invoice and catalogue numbers in your parcel, along with your goods and reason for return.

Crediting Refunds

Any refund you receive for returned goods will be credited to the payment method used;

  • Credit/debit card payments will be reimbursed to your card where possible
  • Cheque or postal order payments will be refunded by cheque
  • Plus Account payments will be refunded to your account

If you paid for the item with your bonprix +Account the refund will be reflected in your next monthly statement. If you have a balance outstanding, this, and the minimum payment amount will be amended. If the balance has already been paid, it will show as a credit.

Please note we will process your refund as quickly as possible, normally in 7 to 10 days.

Late and Unacceptable Returns
If you return items to us after the expiry of the 14 day Approval Period and/or in an unacceptable condition we may not refund your account. An administration charge of £4.95 for smaller items will be made. We may, at our discretion, return your items to you (at a cost to you of the actual postage rate). If you send the item back to us again, or refuse to accept delivery, this will be deemed as irreversible authority for us to dispose of your goods without further notice. Disposal will not constitute any admission on our part that we have failed in any way to honour our obligations to you in full and will not constitute any unlawful action against the goods. Acceptance of a return by your courier is not deemed to be acceptance by the company. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Cancellation Policy

The right to cancel does not apply to the supply of goods that are made to the customer’s specifications or are clearly personalised, the supply of goods which are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly, sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons (if they become unsealed after delivery), sealed audio/video recordings or sealed computer software (if the goods become unsealed after delivery).

To exercise the right to cancel you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract. You can do this by letter or email including your name, address, account number, order/invoice number, item number, signed and dated – before the cancellation period has ended. Alternatively you may use the cancellation form provided here.

If you cancel the contract, it is your responsibility to return the goods to us at your cost, (except where we are offering free delivery or free Next Day Delivery, in which case the return would also be free), but using our courier service or our postal returns service will save you having to pay at the time you return an item. We will match the direct cost of returning the goods against the delivery charges, so there is no additional payment by you (except for the supplementary costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is a result of unnecessary handling by you beyond what is reasonable when inspecting items in a shop. We will make the reimbursement without due delay, and not later than 14 days after the day we receive the goods back from you. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, you will not incur any additional fees as a result of the reimbursement.

not free returns

be aware that items returned even within the 14 day window will still be subject to a charge...
and since my account is used once a year i wasnt aware of this and was subsequently charged late fees on items i no longer have, on an order that was returned!

Returns Process Could Be Much Simpler

I just had a lost afternoon trying to navigate the BonPrix Returns Policy and the information is not clearly, easily and accessibly presented.

The best way to return a Bon Prix item is (Speaking as a new customer)

1. On the bottom of you "Delivery Note" are two removable corners: Bottom left is the "Returns Form" and bottom Right is the "Returns Label". Tear both of these off using the perforations provided.

2. Put the Returns Form in a package with the item the package it came in is not essential and, to me, just a distraction/buffer"

3. Put the Returns Label on top.

4. Call the 0800 number or the 0333 number on the label.

5. Book a courier collection - which will be from 8am - 8pm on a day you can wait in.

Alternatively, once you have signed in.

1. Click on Returns on the website

2. Click Book a Return. If it is within 14 days of receipt of the item.

I do not know what happens if it is after 14 days, but use the returns number and ask: 0333 200 6014 and they may ask a 6 digit Date of birth and your Quickserve number.

Beware! To use a MyHermes shop the Returns Label on your Delivery Note cannot be used. It can be used for a pick up though. This doesn't make sense but to use a MyHermes parcel shop you NEED to book your return on the Bon Prix website from your account (in left hand menu below Hi, Your Name).
