HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO RETURN MY ITEMS AFTER I RECEIVE THEM?

At Brown Bag Clothing we want you to be satisfied every time you shop with us so we make our returns policy simple. You can return or exchange any goods bought from the Brown Bag Clothing website within 14 Days from when you receive them.

HOW DO I RETURN MY GOODS?

Simply fill out the form on the back of your invoice (included with your parcel) making sure to check the box in the ‘Refund Request’ section (if you want to exchange your items(s) for something else, see “What if I want to exchange my goods?“), then send the parcel to our returns department at:

If for any reason you do not have your invoice, please include a note with your name and order number, so that we know who the parcel has come from.

We offer several options for returning your parcels, but the cost of returning the goods to us is your responsibility. The best return service for you varies depending on your location. Please choose your region below to view your available return options.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE A REFUND?

We will issue and confirm the refund or exchange (if available) within 4 Working Days but it may take 3 or 4 more days for the refund to show in your account (or up to 10 days for some building society accounts).

WHAT IF I WANT TO EXCHANGE MY GOODS?

Our exchange procedure is almost the same as for returns. Simply fill out the form on the back of your invoice, check the box in the section marked ‘Exchange Request’ and write down the product reference code(s) of the item(s) you would like to exchange your goods for (these can be found on the product pages on the website just after the product name) along with your chosen size.

Exchanges will be processed within 4 working days (Monday – Friday) of receipt of your parcel and dispatched for free, although you do have to pay the return postage to get your package to us. See section “How do I return my goods?” for more information.

If an exchange item you have requested is not in stock we will issue a refund back to your card/PayPal account.

WHAT DO I NEED TO INCLUDE IN MY RETURN PACKAGE?

Please include the invoice (attached to the front of the parcel you received) with the goods, or your name and order number, so that we know who they are from. When we get the goods back we will issue a full refund for the price of the goods returned. Our only stipulation is that they are in a saleable condition, in other words;

  • The tags have not been removed
  • The garment has not been worn or damaged
  • The packaging is returned

HOW DO I RETURN MY ITEMS USING DPD HOMECALL RETURNS?

DPD working with their partner Hermes have introduced Homecall Returns to help our customers return their goods with a local convenient service.

When you need to return an item, simply call or email us and we’ll send an email to you with a returns label to print at home. The self contained label has everything needed to return the parcel safely to us and for you added convenience, the label even shows a list of your nearest shops where you can drop off your parcel.

You can also access DPD’s store locator and use it to find your nearest shop wherever they are. With nearly 3000 local shops throughout Britain, open 7 days a week, from 7am until 10pm, there will usually be a drop off location close to you.

Your item will then be returned to us for processing within 2-4 working days and all this for just £3.99*. We will email when we have received your item back.

HOW DO I RETURN MY ITEMS USING COLLECT+?

Collect+ is a convenient service that allows you to drop the item you wish to return to any Collect+ stores, 7 days a week, early to late.There are over 5,000 stores nationwide.

Simply complete the returns section (found on the reverse of your invoice), securely wrap your item and put the Collect+ returns label on to the front of your package. You can easily print your label online.

All you then have to do is visit one of the Collect+ stores, drop your item and collect your receipt – it couldn’t be easier. You can also track your return from the Collect+ website.

Your item will then be returned to us for processing within 3-5 working days and all this for just £3.99*. We will email when we have received your item back.

HOW DO I RETURN MY ITEMS USING ROYAL MAIL?

Simply pop in to your local branch and send the parcel (making sure to include the filled out invoice form) to our returns department at the address below. For your own protection we recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery service because;

  • Royal Mail Special Delivery insures the goods up to £500
  • This cover can be increase to £1,000 by paying a small premium
  • Royal Mail Recorded Delivery only insures the goods up to £46

We will email when we have received your item(s).

RETURNS ON SPECIAL OFFERS

If an item bought under a Special Offer or Promotional Incentive is subsequently returned, the Special Offer may no longer apply, and the refund may be adjusted accordingly. We will give you the best deal we can in the circumstances, but we will have to take into account the impact of a return on the original offer. If the item is exchanged for another that would have been available under the terms of the Special Offer no adjustment will need to be made. If the exchange is for an item of similar value outside the terms of the original offer then any adjustment is at our discretion.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

All queries should be emailed to enquiries@bbclothing.co.uk and we generally deal with all queries within 48 hours. If we need to investigate your query further we will advise you.

FURTHER GUIDANCE AND NOTES

  • No delivery charge on exchanges
  • Please ensure that you wrap the package securely
  • Refund does not include your cost of the original postage and packaging
  • We cannot be held responsible for packages lost or damaged in the post
  • Please note that we do not accept returns from courier companies. We recommend you use Homecall Returns, Collect+ or Royal Mail Special Delivery
  • The cost of returning the goods to us is your responsibility
  • This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer
