Returning an item

It’s our aim to provide a returns service that is totally hassle-free for you. If you’re not completely satisfied with an item you may return it within 12 months of purchase, and as long as the item isn’t fitted or used we’re happy to receive it back for a refund.

How to:

  1. Put your unused labeled item for return back in it’s original packaging.
  2. Fill in a Returns Form and include this with the item you are returning in a parcel.
  3. Post the item back to CRC (the postal address is on the bottom of the returns form). Alternatively UK customers can use our free Collect Plus service.
  4. We will be in touch if there are any issues or when your return has been processed.

Here are some guidelines to help you get the best and fastest return service:

  • Each returned item should be in it’s original packaging with the manufacturers labels attached. Please do not tape or attach labels directly to the retail packaging.
  • When returning clothing, where relevant, the original hygiene slips must be in place.
  • Wetsuits must be returned in their original condition and nail marks, stress marks or cuts in the wetsuit will not be accepted for return as an unused item.
  • Retail store purchases should be returned to the original place of purchase. If this is not possible then follow our website returns policy and include proof of purchase.
  • In order to avoid customs charges please mark the outside of your package, ‘RETURNED GOODS FAILED SALE’.
  • We reserve the right to reject the return of goods which are not returned in accordance with our Returns Policy and we may request that you pay for the shipping of such goods back to you. Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
  • It can take up to 7 working days for us to receive your return, depending on which postal service you use. However, once we receive your goods, we will inspect and process them within 24hrs. Refunds will automatically be issued to the same payment method used to purchase the goods. As soon as your return has been processed by our team we will email you to let you know. In the unlikely event that you don’t receive this email within 10 days of posting your parcel to us, please get in touch with our Customer Service Team. Click here to email us.

If your purchase isn’t everything you expected it to be and you wish to exchange an item the simplest and quickest thing to do is place a brand new order for your new item and return the old one to us for a full refund.

Return shipping costs are non-refundable. If the item is being returned as a result of our error, (damaged, defective, wrong item sent etc), we will refund Royal Mail First Class or Standard Parcel postage costs.

Returning an item using Collect Plus

You can return your Chain Reaction Cycles order for free, via local shops and supermarkets, providing they offer the Collect Plus service. Collect Plus stores are open for over 9 hours a day, Monday to Saturday, with over 98% of the stores open 7 days a week.

Collect Plus is a free and easy way to return parcels delivered to addresses in the UK back to Chain Reaction Cycles. There are over 5,500 stores nationwide offering this service. Please click here to find your nearest store.

Simply follow the instructions below to return your item using Collect Plus:

  1. Put your unused labeled item for return back in it’s original packaging.

  4. Enter your order number and email address and then print off your label.
  5. Attach the label to your parcel, ensuring any original delivery labels are removed or covered.
  6. Take your parcel to a local store offering Collect Plus services, where you will receive proof of postage, insurance and a code to track your return online.

When returning goods please ensure they are in their original condition and include all parts, accessories and packaging. Please ensure you package your return to prevent any damage to the items.

NOTE: Please do not tape up or attach labels direct to the retail packaging, please wrap the item first.

Collect Plus Terms and Conditions

    • The Collect Plus service is only available to UK Customers

 

    • Collect Plus can only be used to return parcels up to a maximum dimension of 60cm x 30cm x 30cm

 

    • Collect Plus can only be used to return parcels up to a maximum weight of 10kgs

 

    • Only parcels with the correct Collect Plus label will be accepted at the collection points

 

  • Only parcels within the parameters above can be returned using the Collect Plus service, all other parcels will need to be returned using the standard Chain Reaction Cycles return procedures.

Shop returns

The simplest way to return an item is to return your item to where you bought it. This gives you the flexibility to get a refund or pick another item (or items) to exchange it with. If you’re returning an item from the shop to the online store or vice versa we’ll issue a refund and you’ll be able to go back online or browse round our store and purchase an alternative product.

Returning goods on which duty has been paid

If you have paid duty for the order you received and you’re returning it to us, you should be able to claim a refund of duties from your local customs authority. To find out how and for any other queries about customs duty please contact your local customs authority. To ensure there is no further duty to pay please mark your return parcel, ‘RETURNED GOODS-FAILED SALE’.

Has my return been processed?

As soon as we action your request for an exchange or refund we’ll send an email to the address held against your account to let you know that your return has been dealt with.
