Standard delivery is charged at a flat rate of £7.95 for most of mainland UK.

Any order will be subject to the shipping fees below:

Plants and Large Garden Tools- £7.95
Small Garden Tools, Bulbs and Bulb packs – £5.95
Seeds – £1.69

Please note: Larger items, such as trees may incur an extra delivery charge.

Some items are offered at a delivered price. Delivery is included for these items, but any other items in an order may be eligible for a delivery charge to be added at the rates above.

We aim to deliver all orders within 14 days from the next working day. Pre-orders will be dispatched as indicated on the product page.

Northern Ireland BT1-17, BT18 onwards – £12.00
Scottish Offshore – Postcode Covered (HS1-9, IV41-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20,
PA41-49, PA62-76, PH42-44, ZE1-3) – £13.00

In order to meet the extra costs of delivering products to these areas, orders are subject to a delivery surcharge in addition to the standard delivery charge. You will only pay one delivery surcharge for your order, even if you have more than one item.

Deliveries are typically made using a courier, who despatch between 9.00am and 4.30pm between Tuesday and Friday. Timed deliveries using the courier service are not available currently. If you have a preferred delivery date, please contact us in good time to discuss this. We will always try to facilitate deliveries on a specific day, but this is not always possible and may incur an additional delivery charge. Our courier is instructed to leave your delivery in a safe place if you are unable to receive it. Email notification of your delivery is made by our courier the evening before delivery is to be made. Deliveries are made using a 24 hour service, though deliveries offshore and in Scotland may take from 2 – 5 days to complete.

No deliveries will be made on Bank or National Holidays.

In a continued effort to reduce our impact on the environment and maintain our green ISO14001 approved credentials, we’ve made some changes to our service. The first change is that we have now stopped printing our planting advice and thank you letter. This can now be found and read by clicking the image below. Please think before you print; it will always be available to view here and can be saved onto your computer if you wish.

While we hope that everything will always go well with your order, being realistic, we know that sometimes you may not be 100% happy and we’re always keen to put this right for you.

You can return any products or plants you’re not happy with within 28 days of receiving it provided you have contacted us within 7 days of receipt. Customer complaints should be emailed to For technical complaints or questions /complaints on a specific plant, please attach an image of the problem to aid identification and enable valuable discussion.

We will not pay the costs of returning an item to us.

Until we receive the goods you are returning, they are your responsibility. For your protection and peace of mind, we recommend you use a recorded delivery service to return products or plants to us.

To get a full refund, simply return the item to us in its original condition, in its original packaging within 28 days of cancellation.

If the item has been damaged, used or is not returned in its original packaging, we reserve the right to withhold a percentage of the refund value if the item needs to be reduced in price for resale.
