CostumeParty.com offers a return period of 10 days from the delivery date. Any missing or damaged items received will be replaced. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) numbers are required for all returns. Please note that refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only (with applicable 15% minimum restocking fee – minimum $5.50), provided that it is in original packaging in sellable condition and shipping charges are not refundable. We do not offer prepaid shipping label to return, you are responsible for all return shipping costs.  Because we sell our items at low wholesale prices, we have a strict policy regarding opened packaging.  No item can be returned if the packaging was opened or where costumes have been tried on or worn.

 

We don’t offer exchanges due to quick stock turn over so if you need a different size or costume, you must place a new order for the needed replacement item(s) and return the item(s) you have already received. We ask that you do this because the item you want might be out of stock by the time we receive your return. All appropriate policies apply to all returned items.

 

Please note:

 

  • Returned products must be complete in the original packaging with all accessories and resalable.
  • All item(s) must be returned via a traceable method with delivery confirmation to ensure we receive your package. Return Merchandise Authorization number must be written clearly outside of the box. Do not write on manufacturer packaging.
  • Items will NOT be eligible for a refund if:
    • Item was refused upon delivery.
    • An incorrect address was provided by the customer.
    • Items are not received on time because the wrong shipping method was chosen by the customer.
  • Total quantity ordered will be shipped but not necessarily in the volume units described. For example if you order 10 packs of 10 items each for a total quantity ordered of 100 units, we will ship to you 100 units but they may be delivered in packs of 1 each, 10 each or a pack of 100.  We have no control how the manufacturer packages the items. Any item missing or damaged will be replaced.  If the item is not available, you will be refunded for the items not delivered.
  • Special Order items, Items on Sale or Clearance items may not be returned. If an exception is made to return sale merchandise, then only store credit will be provided.
  • All Returned merchandise is subject to a restocking fee of 15%. (shipping and handling charges are non refundable) Items must not have been worn, used or altered in any way. If a product is returned without authorization, a minimum 35% restocking fee will apply if the item is accepted. Items returned without authorization will only be for credit on account.
  • COSTUMES PURCHASED BETWEEN OCTOBER 15TH AND OCTOBER 31ST ARE NOT RETURNABLE FOR REFUND FOR ANY REASON.  WE WILL REPLACE ANYTHING DAMAGED OR MISSING ONLY.

 

  • The following items are never returnable:
    • Items on Sale or Clearance (including anything purchased with a coupon 10 percent or greater)
    • Orders in the amount of $100 or larger
    • Any item with opened packaging,
    • Any item that has been worn, used or altered,
    • Undergarments,
    • Socks, stockings, and hosiery
    • Shoes and boots, boot covers and accessories,
    • Dress patterns,
    • Cosmetics,
    • Eyelashes,
    • Wigs, beards, mustaches or any artificial hair,
    • Prosthetics, fangs or any other fake teeth,
    • Party supplies,
    • Cigarette holders,
    • Prosthetic noses or chins,
    • CD’s, DVD’s or video tapes,
    • Party kits,
    • Seasonal or holiday specific items
If you purchase any of the above listed items it is important you check the item carefully to make sure it is what you ordered before opening the packaging. Once the packaging is opened, we cannot accept a return for the item. SORRY, NO EXCEPTIONS. 
  • Original shipping charges for defective or non-defective items are not refundable. All return shipping costs for non-defective items are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Returns are generally processed within a week of receiving the product back. During Halloween season (October and November) this process may take up to 4 weeks.
  • Orders paid with checks or bank wire require special handling and are non-refundable.

 

Please note: We endeavor to do our best to keep images and descriptions up to date but due to high turnaround and changes by vendors sometimes they are out of Costumeparty.com’s control. Items that are being returned for image or description changes can only be returned for credit on account only. We will try our best to work with each indiviual on a per case basis to resolve the issue when possible.

 

Please note: Delivery is not guarantee for economy or standard shipping. Delivery dates for these two shipping methods are only estimates. Costume styles are subject to change without notice, due to the manufacturer’s production. Colors can vary slightly online than when seen in person. These changes, no matter how slight, are beyond our control. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The Manufacturers do not always notify us of these variations. We will reflect any changes to the costumes in the website descriptions and images as soon as we become aware of them. Thank you for your understanding with this issue.

 

To obtain an RMA number, please fill return form and be sure to provide the original invoice number, product being returned, and the reason for return.
