For eTextbook Purchases

You may cancel your CourseSmart eTextbook digital rental and request an immediate refund within seven (7) days of your initial purchase, provided that:

  • You have viewed and/or printed, in total, less than twenty percent (20%) of the CourseSmart eTextbook.
  • You have not yet used the access code for any online resource included with your eTextbook purchase.
  • If you have accessed your eTextbook and checked out any part of it to view offline, it will have to be “checked in”.

If you rent a CourseSmart eTextbook, request a refund, and then rent the same CourseSmart eTextbook, you will not be eligible to request any further refunds for that CourseSmart eTextbook.

For eResource Purchases

You may request an immediate refund within seven (7) days of your initial purchase of an eResource, provided that you have not yet viewed the access code for any online resource included with your eTextbook purchase.
