Oxfam UK Return Policy
-
Do you accept returns?
We offer a limited-period ‘no quibble’ returns policy, so you can buy safe in the knowledge that you can return your goods for a refund, should you wish to do so.
The period within which you can return your items is as follows:
- Wedding dresses: 14 days
- Overseas returns: 31 days
- Everything else: 21 days
Please note that this does not apply to Oxfam Unwrapped gifts. Because these count as a donation rather than a purchase, under Charity Commission rules we are unable to offer you a refund.
-
My order hasn’t arrived – what should I do?
You should receive all your purchases within seven working days of placing your order. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
If you have not received your order and it is after the expected date of arrival (allowing a couple of days for postal delays) then please contact us so we can look into this for you and, if appropriate, send a replacement. We can change the delivery address of any replacements if required.
If you have ordered goods for delivery outside of the UK, please allow additional time for your purchases to be delivered. Overseas deliveries are all sent via Royal Mail Airmail and should arrive at European destinations within three working days after despatch, and worldwide within five.
-
My order arrived, but not in the expected time
Expected delivery times are given in the delivery information and on the order confirmation page. If your order took longer than this, then please accept our apologies for any disappointment or inconvenience this caused. If it was a gift for a friend or family member, please pass on our sincere apologies to them. If you would like to discuss this with a member of the team, pleaseĀ contact us.

I’ve changed my mind about an Oxfam Unwrapped gift
Because an Oxfam Unwrapped gift counts as a donation rather than a purchase, our no quibble returns policy does not apply and under Charity Commission rules we are unable to give you a refund. However, we can replace Oxfam Unwrapped little extras with items of the same or similar value if necessary. If you would like to request a replacement, please contact us.
Our returns policy does cover products such as the little extras, for example the solid milk chocolate ‘Archie the Goat’, the Reindeer Poo Planter, or the Sweet Pea Grow Kit.
We can give you a refund for goods which are returned in a re-saleable condition within 21 days of receipt. Refunds will be processed within 30 days. We are unable to give a refund for returned items received outside the 21 day period, unless you have agreed this with Oxfam beforehand. Goods received outside this period will be returned.
