Pet Drugs Online UK Return Policy
It’s our aim to get your pet’s medication to you as soon as possible, so we offer a range of delivery options.
Our standard delivery is free on orders over £20 by Royal Mail 2nd Class and takes 3-5 days.
If your pet needs their medication sooner, we can deliver it by Royal Mail 1st Class or a guaranteed next working day courier service for a small fee.
For next working day delivery by a courier we’ll need your order and a prescription by 12 noon.
Food is delivered free if over 6kg – so order more to save!
Please note that if you are purchasing non-food items at the same time as food items these may be sent separately by second class post.

1. UK Mainland
We offer free delivery on all orders over £20 with a couple of exceptions which you can see below.
Orders under this amount incur a £2.50 handling fee.
Items are despatched via Royal Mail 2nd Class or for additional £1.50 Royal Mail 1st Class service.
A guaranteed next day service is available via courier for £5.95 (for orders in stock placed before 12pm).
Exceptions to free delivery
- Aerosols – due to Royal Mail restrictions these must to sent out via a courier
- Heavy items additional fee of £2.95 (1kg – 1.99kg) and £3.99 based on items up to 2kg – 5.99kg). Food 6kg and over is free.
- Fridge items – as these items are cooled we have to send them out via a courier for overnight delivery
2. UK Highlands, Islands & Northern Ireland
We offer free delivery on all orders over £20 with a couple of exceptions which you can see below.
Orders under this amount incur a £2.50 handling fee.
Items are despatched via Royal Mail 2nd Class service or for additional £1.50 Royal Mail 1st Class.
Exceptions to free delivery
- Aerosols – due to Royal Mail restrictions these must to sent out via a courier
- Heavy items
In these cases and where couriers are used, additional costs based on the weight of the item and the destination postcode will be incurred.
These charges are the costs which we incur from the courier company.
3. Europe
We charge £9.99 for items up to 1kg and £16.99 for items up to 2kg.
Items over 2kg are not shipped.
4. Worldwide
We are unable to post to destinations outside of Europe due to local Customs Regulations which may result in your important medication being destroyed upon entry.
Our returns policy
Returning non-prescription items
Perhaps you’ve changed your mind, or you’ve accidentally bought a cat brush for your Old English Sheepdog. Either way, you have 7 days to cancel your order after receiving your purchase, provided it’s unopened and unused.
Here’s how to go about returning unwanted items:
- Email us at contact@petdrugsonline.co.uk to cancel your order
- Return your items to the returns address on your invoice
- Ensure the items are unopened and unused and in their original packaging
- We’ll refund the cost of your order in full (including postage). You should receive the money within 10 days.
Unfortunately, we cannot pay for the cost of returning an item unless the item is faulty or we’ve sent the wrong thing. And we can’t accept a return if a product has been opened or used.

Returning prescription items
We take your pet’s health very seriously, so as a licensed supplier of veterinary medicines governed by The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Medicines Directorate we are unable to accept returns of prescribed medications. This is to ensure the safety of any animals involved, as items could have been stored incorrectly or, even worse, tampered with.
Please only order the medication you require, and avoid ordering in large quantities in case your pet’s medication needs change, as they’re prone to do. If you have any questions or concerns before you place your order, call us on 0844 800 6742. Our vets and qualified dispensers know about the medicines they’re prescribing and can offer advice on how they should be used.
