While we’re sure you’ll love what you’ve ordered, we understand that sometimes you might have second thoughts. To make a return for a refund or exchange, you’ll need to follow the instructions set out below.

RETURNING AN ITEM

Any items returned to us must be in their original condition – if they’re not, we may be unable to accept them.

We may make a deduction from the refund for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

(Please note that shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.)

Clothing: When trying on clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing any fragrance, make-up or deodorant that may leave a scent or mark.

Footwear: Footwear will only be accepted if returned to us unworn and in its original unmarked and undamaged box.

Swimwear and Underwear: For hygiene reasons, swimwear and underwear can only be returned if the protective seal is still intact.

Non-Returnable Products: For hygiene, safety and security reasons earrings and personal grooming products cannot be returned. Please also note that goods that have been made to your specifications or personalized cannot be returned.

Online returns to Online Store

Tell us the reason for returning your purchase by writing the corresponding letter into the ‘Return Code’ column against the relevant item on your delivery note. A list of return codes are listed below.

Items must be returned within 28 days of order receipt.

Your parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us. We cannot accept liability for goods that get lost or damaged in transit back to us. Please also note that you will be liable for any customs or duty charges if applicable for your return.

Return Codes:

A – I ordered two sizes/colors to compare

B – It’s not really my color

C – You sent me the wrong item/size/color

D – What you sent me was faulty

E – Just doesn’t fit right

F – My order didn’t arrive in time

G – The item doesn’t look like the picture I saw online

H – I’m disappointed with the quality

I  – It’s a bit too big

J – It’s a bit too small

K – I’ve changed my mind

L – Unwanted gift

M – Exchange

N – Other

Online returns to Store

If you are a customer in the US you can take unwanted items to a Ted Baker standalone (excluding outlet and airport stores) for a refund or an exchange. You must return the items to a Ted Baker standalone store in their original condition and with proof of purchase within 7 days of receipt of order. Please note that online outlet orders cannot be returned to stores.

Please note:

You must provide a valid proof of purchase.  This can be either your delivery note or your order confirmation email.

Online orders cannot be returned to Ted stores through the post.  If you wish to return your online order by post please follow the instructions set out below for online returns to the online store.

Refunds

Any items returned to us must be in their original condition – if they’re not, we may be unable to accept them. We will refund your purchase within 7 working days of receiving your package. Note that your bank may need longer to process the credit back to your account. Internationally this can take up to 30 days.

Goods purchased In Store

Subject to the exceptions below, we are happy to offer a refund or exchange for items purchased from Ted Baker standalone stores within 14 days of purchase. You must return the items to a Ted Baker standalone store in their original condition and with proof of purchase – if not, we may be unable to accept them. Refunds are only available at Ted Baker standalone stores in the original country of purchase and will be made against the original form of payment. Items purchased from Ted Baker standalone stores and returned instore between 14 and 28 days after purchase will be offered an exchange or gift card. This does not affect your legal rights.

Please note;

Goods purchased in a Ted Baker standalone store cannot be returned to a Ted Baker Outlet store.

Goods purchased in a Ted Baker Outlet store can be returned to a Ted Baker Standalone store providing the product is still on the store’s price file.

Goods purchased in a Ted Baker concession can be returned to a Ted Baker store for an exchange or gift voucher only.

Goods purchased in a Ted Baker store cannot be returned to a Ted Baker concession.

For returns of goods purchased in a Ted Baker airport store, please refer to the returns policy page on the relevant airport website.

A valid proof of purchase would be either a store till receipt or a bank statement showing the payment.

EXCHANGING AN ITEM

If you’d like to exchange an item, you need to select a reason from the list printed on your delivery note. Write the corresponding letter into the ‘Return Code’ column against the relevant item, then give Customer Services a ring on +1 833 585 4200*.

Make sure you’ve got your order number, return code and the name of the item you wish to exchange to hand. Also, if any additional payment needs to be taken, please have your credit/debit card details ready.

Then within 28 days of the date you received your order, send the goods you wish to exchange along with the delivery note to:

Make sure you send them within 14 days of requesting your exchange.

For convenience, you can use the UPS returns label included in your package if you are sending the goods back from the United States. If you choose to use it we will deduct $7 from the amount we credit back to you. If you don’t use the UPS returns label, you can use the pre-addressed sticker on your delivery note and you’ll need to pay the return postage. For safety, we would recommend you use a recorded delivery service and keep the proof of postage. Your parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us. We cannot accept liability for goods that get lost or damaged in transit back to us. Please also note that you will be liable for any customs or duty charges if applicable for your return.

Once we’ve received your package, and as long as the item(s) are in their original condition, we’ll send out your new goods within 14 working days.
