How do I exchange an item?

If you receive an item that does not fit, is the wrong colour, or is damaged/defective and you would like to exchange it for the correct size or a replacement, you must contact our Customer Care Centre at 1 888 2020 888 and one of our Customer Service agents will arrange it for you. Return shipping charges are waived for exchanges.

What is The Shopping Channel’s 30-Day Money Back Guarantee / Returns Policy?

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not, we will accept your returns within 30 days of you receiving the item and will provide you with a full refund, less applicable return shipping charges. When returning an item, please keep in mind the time it will take to ship the item back to us (7 to 10 business days via Canada Post).

Your returned item must be received back in our warehouse within 30 days of you receiving the item and must be in its original packaging and in the same condition you received it. Some products may offer a longer trial period (eg. 60 or 90 days) in which case this exception will be clearly noted on your Order Summary. Once a returned item is received back in our warehouse, it may take up to 15 days for your refund to be processed.

Returned items received after 30 days will not be processed. You will have the option to have the item sent back to you for a flat shipping fee of $15.

Are there any restrictions on returns?

Health & Beauty and other consumable products are subject to reasonable trial. Empty jars, bottles, etc. will not be accepted as a returned item.

Fashion and Jewellery items may be tried on for size/fit only, and must not otherwise be worn. Returns of fashion or other items that were initially shipped with a “Do Not Remove” tag will not be processed if this tag has been removed.

Music, Movie & Software returns are processed for unopened products only.

“Last Chance” clearance items are final sale. If you return a “Last Chance” item, it will not be processed. All “Last Chance” items will be clearly noted as such on your Order Summary.

My fashion purchase included a large “do not remove” tag. What is this?

If the garment you ordered included this tag, you should only remove it after trying the item on for size and fit. Garments which originally had this tag will not be accepted for return if the tag has been removed.

By ensuring that returned garments were tried on for size and fit only, we minimize our costs of handling returned product. More importantly, it helps us continue to deliver excellent value to our customers.

Do I have to pay to return an item?

You are responsibe to pay return shipping charges.

Use the Easy Return Canada Post shipping label included with your order, and the return shipping costs will be conveniently deducted from your refund amount.
Or, you can make your own arrangement with Canada Post or courier company using their shipping label, and pay the shipper directly upfront.

If the return is due to our error, or if you’re simply making an exchange, return shipping charges will be waived.

Return shipping costs are based upon the item’s “shipping weight” which is usually the same as the item’s actual weight, unless the item and packaging is large or bulky, in which case an additional premium is added to the item’s actual weight to arrive at the item’s “shipping weight”. (For large or bulky items, typically 1 cubic foot is equivalent 10 lbs shipping weight.)

How do I return an item?

Returning an item is simple using our “Easy Return” Canada Post label. Just follow these steps:

STEP 1: Locate & complete the easy return label
Locate the Easy Return Canada Post label included with your order, or print one from our website at tsc.ca/Returns as required.
Write your name, address and order number on the label in the area provided.

Please note that Easy Return labels come in one of three formats:

Adhesive Back provided with all telephone orders processed through our National Distribution Centre. Simply peel it off its backing and affix the entire label to the package being returned. Be certain to peel off and keep the tracking number embedded within the larger Easy Return label for your future reference.

Non-Adhesive Back packed with some orders that are shipped to you directly from one of our vendors. Cut along the dotted line to separate the top, bar-coded portion of the label and affix it with tape to the package being returned. Keep the bottom portion of the label with the tracking number for your reference.

Printable Online Label. If we neglected to include an Easy Return label with your order, or you have misplaced it, you can visit our website and print a label. Simply visit our website at tsc.ca/Returns and click on “Print an Easy Return Canada Post Label”
Cut along the dotted line to separate the top, bar-coded portion of the label and affix it with tape to the package being returned. Keep the bottom portion of the label with the tracking number for your reference.

Each label you print from our website contains a unique Canada Post tracking number. So, please be certain to print a new label every time you return a package. If you photocopy, or save and re-print the same label to use on a subsequent package, Canada Post will be unable to track it.
NOTE: Be certain to keep this tracking number in a safe place. Without it, we cannot track your package should it become lost on route to us.

STEP 2: Pack the item to be returned securely in the original packaging and include the original (or photocopy) of your Order Summary. On the Order Summary, please highlight the item(s) you are returning and note the reason for your return. If your return contains items from more than one order, please enclose all Order Summaries.
NOTE: Do not combine jewellery and non-jewellery items in the same return. They need to be shipped and processed separately.

STEP 3: Fill in your name and address on the Easy Return Canada Post label, and peel off and keep the tracking number.
NOTE: Be certain to keep this tracking number in a safe place. Without it, we cannot track your package should it become lost en route to us.

STEP 4: Affix both the Return Bar Code label and the Easy Return Canada Post label to your package covering the original shipping label.

What if I don’t have a Easy Return Canada Post label?

If we neglected to include an Easy Return label with your order, or you have misplaced it, you can visit our website to print a label at tsc.ca/Returns and click on “Print an Easy Return Canada Post Label” Alternatively, you can also call us at 1-888-2020-888 to have a label emailed to you, or to arrange a pick-up and return of your purchase. This applies primarily to large items such as fitness equipment, big screen televisions, etc.

Can I return an item in person?

No, we do not accept in-person returns. You can return your item by using our Easy Return Canada Post returns label, as described above, or by making your own shipping arrangements.

How long does it take to process a refund?

Please allow 15 business days from the date you ship the package back to The Shopping Channel for us to receive the package and complete the returns process. Full credit (less applicable return postage fees) will only apply to those items that are returned with all parts included as originally shipped. Refunds will be made by the same method used for your purchase. If we have your email address on file, you will receive an email confirming the product has been returned successfully. You can also check your returns status online by signing in to your account.

We had inquiries regarding the authenticity of the black spinel gemstone contained in our Sterling Silver Diamond & Black Spinel Tattoo Ring from our Rarities: Fine Jewellery with Carol Brodie collection. We requested and received an appraisal which has confirmed that the ring does contain Black Spinel with Clarity being AA. The ring was also appraised at an approximate retail replacement value of $495. Spinel is a very unique and unusual gemstone and has often been mistaken for another material which is likely the reason for the confusion.
