Return Polices

Standard Return Policy

You can initiate a return for most new and unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.* You must return items in new or unused condition with all original materials included with the shipment. We must receive your returned items at our processing facility within 45 days of delivery. We inspect all returned items and award a partial refund for opened or used products. If the return is a result of our error or defective product, we will refund the full cost of the merchandise and shipping charges.

If you initiate a return after 30 days, Overstock.com may issue a partial refund depending on elapsed time and condition of merchandise.

*You must initiate the return within 30 days of delivery. We must receive your returned items at our processing facility within 45 days of delivery (see product specific return policies for exceptions). You can expect to receive your refund within four weeks of shipping your package back to us. In many cases you will receive a refund sooner, but we estimate four weeks because of the time required for return shipping (up to 14 days), product inspection at our returns facility (up to 5 business days), and processing from your bank or credit card company (up to 5 business days). We will notify you via email with the details of your refund, and issue your refund in the form of payment used to make your purchase.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable and we offer no refunds:

* Undergarments and other intimate apparel
* Adult Products
* Body Jewelry (i.e. all items within the “Body Jewelry” sub-category)
* Factory-sealed sports collectible sets
* Gift Cards
* Club O Membership Fee
* “Final Sale” items
* Perfumes and Fragrances
* Large Screen TVs (37” and larger)
* Ink Cartridges
* Medical Items
* Memory Foam Mattresses that you open or take out of their plastic wrap
* Swimwear with any tags or liners removed and that you wear or use
* Toys for Tots purchases
* Wine and perishable products (food items, chocolates, plants & flowers & wholesale flowers)
* Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, and cassette that you open or take out of its plastic wrap
* Any specially labeled designer apparel, handbags and accessories if you remove the security tag
* Case Packs/Bulk Items: We will not accept partial case packs. You must return the product in the original shipping pack, with all Individual items unopened.
* Other select items, as noted on the product description page

O.biz Non-Returnable Items
The following O.biz Items are Non-Returnable and we offer no refunds:

* Gift Cards
* Club O Membership Fee
* “Final Sale” items
* Large Screen TVs
* Memory Foam Mattresses that you open or take out of their plastic wrap
* Toys for Tots purchases
* Wine and perishable products (food items, chocolates, plants & flowers & wholesale flowers)
* Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, and cassette tape that you open or take out of its plastic wrap
* Any specially-labeled designer apparel, handbags and accessories if you remove the security tag
* Case Packs/Bulk Items: We will not accept partial case packs. You must return the product in the original shipping pack, with all individual items unopened.
* Other select items, as noted on the product description page.

We do not give refunds for the following products:

* Gift Cards
* Club O Membership Fee
* “Final Sale” items
* Large Screen TVs (37” and larger)
* Ink Cartridges
* Medical Items
* Memory Foam Mattresses that have been opened or taken out of their plastic wrap
* Toys for Tots purchases
* Wine and perishable products (food items, chocolates, plants & flowers & wholesale flowers)
* Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, and cassette tape that has been opened/taken out of its plastic wrap
* Any specially-labeled designer apparel, handbags and accessories that have had the security tag removed
* Case Packs/Bulk Items: No partial case pack returns will be accepted. Product must be returned in the original shipping pack with all individual items unopened
* Other select items, as noted on the product description page

We only give refunds on the following products if they are in their original bulk packaging:

* Swimsuits
* Undergarments and other intimate apparel
* Body Jewelry (i.e. all items within the “Body Jewelry” sub-category
* Factory-sealed sports collectible sets
* Perfumes and fragrances

Computers and Electronics:

Computers and Electronics purchased from Nov. 1 – Dec. 31 qualify for a longer return period as stated in our Holiday Return Policy. Outside this window, our Standard Return Policy applies.

You must return items in their original condition (unopened) to qualify for a full refund. We will issue a partial refund if you open, use or return the item late.

We may reduce your refund by the amount of the original shipping charge, plus actual return shipping fees, unless the return is due to Overstock.com’s error.

Large Screen TVs (37-inch screens and larger):

You cannot return a large screen TV unless the problem is the result of our error. All large screen TVs come with a manufacturer warranty. You can also purchase an extended warranty. If your TV develops a problem after delivery, you must contact the manufacturer or warranty provider by clicking here.

Carefully inspect your item upon its delivery. If you notice any damage or defects, note them on the shipping receipt and refuse the delivery. Contact Overstock.com immediately to resolve the issue.

Mattresses:

Upon delivery and before you sign the shipping receipt, inspect the mattress, foundation, or mattress set. Damaged or defective mattresses, foundations, or mattress sets qualify for a full refund only if you refuse the items at the time of delivery.

Oversized-Item Return Policy applies.

Jewelry, Watches and Accessories:

To return a jewelry or watch order that falls within our standard 30-day Returns Policy, send your item back for inspection.. A Master Certified Watchmaker or Graduate Gemologist rigorously inspects jewelry and watch returns, which are subject to stringent guidelines. Overstock.com accepts only new, unworn, and non-altered items (including sizing) for return and refund, except according to Overstock.com’s Jewelry and Watch Returns Condition policy.

If there was damage to your item during shipping, or you suspect tampering, keep the box and/or packaging, which the carrier will want to inspect, and contact us immediately.

To initiate a return, visit the “My Account” link at Overstock.com and click “Returns” under your “Order History.” Package separately jewelry and watches with a value of $100 or more, one item per package, and send to Overstock.com using a trackable shipping method. We will ask for a tracking number for each item. You must insure items valued at $500 or more for the full value of the item(s). Overstock.com accepts no responsibility, regardless of value, for untrackable or uninsured items and cannot accept your return. Be sure to check with your preferred carrier, as UPS, FEDEX and USPS each have different tracking and insurance policies.

For security, please do not write “jewelry” or “watch” on the outside of the package. DO NOT write directly on watch boxes.

Jewelry and Watch Returns Condition Policy:

A Master Certified Watchmaker or Graduate Gemologist rigorously inspects jewelry and watch returns, which are subject to the following guidelines:

1. Excellent: (100% Refund minus $10 inspection fee and shipping)

* Falls within Overstock.com’s Jewelry & Watch 30-day Return Policy.
* Pristine showcase condition. Looks new, unworn and needs no refurbishing.
* Arrives in new, undamaged original box or case.
* Complete with all original parts, links and accessories.
* Complete with all original certificates, manuals, appraisals and tags.
* No evidence of sizing, service, alteration, wear or blemish of any kind.
* Any attached Mylar tags are unbroken.

2. Good: (40% to 80% Refund)

* Falls within Overstock.com’s Jewelry & Watch 30-day Return Policy.
* Restorable to “like-new” condition.
* Arrives in new, undamaged original box or case.
* Complete with all original parts, links and accessories.
* Complete with all original certificates, manuals, appraisals and tags.
* Sizing, service, alteration, wear or blemish of any kind that we cannot refurbish.
* Any attached Mylar tags are unbroken.

3. Fair: (0% to 40% Refund)

* Falls within or outside Overstock.com’s Jewelry & Watch 30-day Return Policy.
* Non-refurbishable cosmetic defects (e.g. scratched or rubbed off gold plating or special finishes and scratched/ripped bands of leather or rubber).
* Missing or damaged original box.
* Missing any parts, links or accessories (subject to evaluation for each).
* Missing original certificates, manuals, appraisals and tags.
* Significant wear or damaged but repairable watch movement.

4. Poor: (NO Refund)

* Falls outside Overstock.com’s Jewelry & Watch 30-day Return Policy.
* Items do not match the original serial number or SKU number.
* Mechanical damage that is non-repairable or significant cosmetic damage.
* Wear, blemish or cosmetic damage or damaged watch movement due to inappropriate wear or use.
* Missing original box or case.
* Missing significant parts, links or accessories.
* Missing original certificates, manuals, appraisals and tags.

What is an Oversized Item?

* An Oversized Item is a large product that ships through freight carriers.
* All Oversized Items must meet one or more of the following criteria:
o Weigh 151 lbs. or more when packaged.
o Length measures 108 in. or more.
o Girth measures 165 in. or more.
o If an item ships on a wooden pallet, regardless of weight (but generally in the 100-150 lb. range), it is considered an Oversized Item.

To determine if a product will ship as an Oversized Item:

* Scroll down on the product’s description page to the Shipping & Returns tab. A large red truck icon truckimg will display next to products that ship as Oversized Items.

Return Policy

* We inspect all Oversized Item returns upon their arrival back at our warehouse.
* We may give only a partial refund of the purchase price if the returned item is not in its new, original and unopened condition. The amount of the partial refund depends on the condition of the item as determined in our sole discretion.
* We reserve the right to deduct the original shipping charge, and the actual return shipping fee, which generally ranges from $100 to $695 or more (depending on size and weight), if the item is not in its original condition upon arrival back at our warehouse.

Additionally, you will be responsible to pay the original shipping fee, and return shipping fee if we receive an Oversized Item return for any of the following reasons:

* You refuse a delivery without inspection
* You miss a delivery appointment
* You return a non-defective or undamaged product

Defective Product and Returns Due to Our Error
Defective items, items damaged at the time of receipt, and incorrect items received may be returned without penalty.* Your shipping charges will be waived.

When we receive your return, we will inspect the item and provide a replacement or issue a refund. If the product is not found to be defective, shipping fees will apply and/or a partial refund may be issued.

Products Returned After 30 days

* Because products decrease in value over time, we offer partial refunds for items returned more than 30 days after delivery.*
* We may reduce the refund further based on the condition of the merchandise.
* We also deduct the original and return shipping charges from your refund, as described in the Standard Returns Policy.

If we send you a replacement item, we must receive the original item in our warehouse within 30 days of the date you initiate the return. Otherwise, we will charge you full price for the replacement item.

wrong Item

My wife ordered a bridge 2 port faucet from overstock, after ordering the granite to match the picture overstock sends her a bridge faucet that requires 3 holes in the granite. We go through the steps for a return label and overstock wants to charge her $14.95 for a return label for a item they sent out wrong!!!! I will not be ordering anything else from OVERSTOCK.COM. I will also stop anyone I know from ordering from them. We were told they would get us a return order ( RETURN LABEL ) but they never responded back

Poor Quality & Fit

Purchased shoes, my size - The heels slip up and down when walking - Poor quality for sure - They charged me $12.62 for the return, so much for 'Guaranteed or return' - I am off their mailing list, last purchase ever, NOT AMAZON for sure!

Flawed purse

My husband ordered a fringe purse for me. When I received the purse it was flawed, the fringe on it was not sewn on it properly. He sent the item back and was charged shipping. He should not have to pay shipping on a damaged item that was of no fault of his own. I and my husband will no longer do business with overstock.com, for they are untruthful about their policies that say they will refund an item in full if the item was returned in the condition that it was sent.

Travel bag on wheels was listed with a size that was not correct. Before ordering I measured twice based on the listed web description size and bag is 2 inches short for my laptop. Returning the day after received. Lost time waiting for a delivery I have to return.

King-size sheets

I have ordered many things from Overstock and in general, I have been satisfied. I ordered king size sheets which did not fit my bed & the quality was GARBAGE. I disposed of the original wrapping a few days ago, before trying them on the bed & there are no returns without ORIGINal wrapping. I never used the sheets as they don't fit. I am very disgusted.

disappointed

I just received the August Steiner woman's watch, and im disappointed that the description of diamonds, also meant crystals, there are only 12 real diamonds on watch remainder are crystals. the company needs to be TOTALLY honest, and not be misleading!!
