UK 48-Hour Delivery

To ensure your order reaches you promptly, and in the same condition that it left our warehouse, we despatch all our deliveries using reputable courier companies. And so you can order with complete confidence, a signature will be required on delivery.

Our standard delivery charge is £3.99 per order. This amount is only charged once per order, regardless of how many items you order, or how many parcels we despatch.

  • Your order will be delivered to you between Monday and Friday, except for Bank Holidays. Saturday delivery is not available just at the moment.
  • We regret that we are not able to guarantee a time for delivery.
  • For most UK mainland and Northern Ireland addresses, your order will usually be with you within 2 working days following the date your order is placed. In periods of high demand it may take a little longer.
  • Delivery to more remote areas, such as the Highlands and islands, may take up to 3 additional working days.
  • Please note that for a single order containing more than one item, you may receive more than one parcel.

Delivery to Eire

We deliver to Eire using DPD or DHL International. Please allow up to 3 working days for your order to reach you. The delivery cost is currently £10 for up to 3 items.

Please note that prices quoted on this site include UK VAT only; this is payable on all orders. Some international deliveries may be subject to local duty and custom charges, for which you will be responsible.


Returns Guarantee

We sincerely hope that you are delighted with your purchase from Barratts.

However, in the event of a problem, we guarantee to refund or exchange any item you are not completely happy with, when you return it to us within 28 days of despatch, providing it is unused and in a saleable condition. So please ensure that your purchase is entirely suitable before use.

  • Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment.
  • In the interests of hygiene, we do not allow returns on hosiery, unless faulty on delivery.
  • If a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, we will also refund the original delivery charge, but not if it is simply unwanted.
  • If a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, please call our Customer Service team on 01233214575, or email them at before returning your product.
  • The reproduction of colours is as accurate as the photographic, production and digital display processes will reasonably allow. Therefore, reasonable variation does not constitute a fault.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or incorrectly described goods, or your right to cancel orders under the Distance Selling Regulations.

How to return an item

There is no need to contact us in advance of returning an item, unless it is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Simply complete all sections of the Returns Form on the bottom of the Delivery Note sent with your order, and enclose it in your return parcel. (If you have lost your form, please print a returns form to complete.) Package the item(s) carefully in the original packaging and a secure outer wrapper, and send the parcel, clearly addressed, to:

We recommend that you send your return by Recorded Delivery, and retain your proof of postage, as we cannot be held liable for returns lost in transit. We will email you to let you know that your return has been processed, within 3-5 working days of receiving it.

Returning Goods Bought as Special Offers

If you return a single item bought as part of a multi-buy discount offer (for example ‘buy 3 for £75.00’), we will refund the full price of that item less the total discount given in that offer. If you return all items purchased with the multi-buy discount, you will be refunded with the full multi-buy value.

7 Day Cooling-Off Period

In addition to our returns policy, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have 7 working days (beginning the day after receipt) to cancel your purchase. In this case, we will provide a full refund, including your original delivery charge, but you must return the cancelled items to us at your cost. If we do not receive back the cancelled items, we may arrange to collect them from you at your cost.

Statutory Rights

Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy and you will have the benefit of them too.
