International Returns
If for any reason you’re not satisfied with your purchase, please email internationalcustomerservice@bloomingdales.com. We will provide you with further instructions on where returns should be shipped and the amount you will be refunded. Refund amounts for returned items will be credited to you by Borderfree in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original tender. Returns must be made within 180 days of purchase. Please note: Shipping fees are not refunded for preference returns.
All European Union customers have a right to back out of a purchase within 7 days of completing the transaction (e.g. placing the order on the website). If a European Union customer cancels their order during this 7-day period, Borderfree will reimburse the customer for the cost of the product(s) AND any extra fees (e.g. shipping) paid by the customer to receive the item. Borderfree can, however, charge the customer for cost of shipping goods back to Borderfree. Reimbursement by Borderfree will be within 30 days.
How do I return an item that shipped directly from the vendor?
To return an item shipped from the vendor, check your shipment invoice to find specific return instructions for the item you ordered.
Can I return a gift I received from an international order?
Yes. Gift returns must be made within 180 days of purchase. The date of purchase will be provided on the shipment invoice.
Please note: When returning a gift, the return amount will be credited back to the original tender of the purchaser.
Can I return my purchase to a Bloomingdale’s store?
We’re sorry, International orders cannot be returned to Bloomingdale’s store locations.
How do I receive credit for items returned to bloomingdales.com?
Your refund amount will be credited to you by Borderfree in the same currency, using the same exchange rate as your original tender. Once we receive the item, we will process your credit immediately. The amount of time it takes to reflect on your account will depend on your bank’s processing time. (“Business days” are Monday-Friday, excluding holidays).
For gift returns or orders with different shipping and billing information, please email internationalcustomerservice@bloomingdales.com and provide the following:
- Order number
- Description of item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for the return
How long does it take for refunds to post to my account?
Please allow 3 weeks for the return transit time, plus an additional 4 business days upon receipt for the return to be completed and the refund to be issued to your account. If you provide an email address, Borderfree will email you when your return has been received and processed.
How do I return merchandise purchased at a Macy’s store if I live abroad?
We’re sorry, International orders cannot be returned to Bloomingdale’s store locations.
Can I exchange an item from my International order?
We apologize, but International orders cannot be exchanged.
