If you are not satisfied with your purchase simply return your item within 90 days of receipt to any of our Dick’s Sporting Goods retail locations or by shipping back to the DicksSportingGoods.com returns facility. Credit will be issued to your original form of payment for a full refund of the purchase price minus shipping charges or gift wrap. In the event the item has been received damaged, defective out of the box or the incorrect item was shipped, shipping charges will be refunded.
Items must be returned in new and unused condition, include all parts and accessories and in original vendor packaging. Dick’s Sporting Goods Standard Return policy does not apply to all items. For a list of exceptions and instructions on how to return please refer to our Return Exceptions.
To ensure a full credit, returns must be accompanied by the original sales receipt or packing slip.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items Shipped
If you receive item(s) that have been damaged in transit, defective out of the box or an incorrect item, save the shipping carton and contact a Dick’s Sporting Goods Customer Service Agent for immediate assistance at 1.877.846.9997. Our customer service team will provide you with a prepaid return label or arrange pick-up for items delivered through a freight carrier. Customers will be refunded in the original form of payment for the purchase price as well as any applicable taxes and shipping costs.
Please note if you do not contact customer service and ship to the return center, you are responsible for all return shipping charges.
Credit
Qualifying returns to Dick’s Sporting Goods will be refunded for the amount paid for the item, including any sales tax if applicable within 30 days of our receiving your returned item. Original freight charges and return freight charges are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was received damaged/defective or if the incorrect item was shipped. See Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items.
Refunds will be credited in the original form of payment used for purchase. If payment was by a gift card or gift certificate the return will be refunded to your original gift card or online gift certificate that was used for the purchase. Returns where a ScoreCard reward certificate was redeemed or other discount applied may result in an adjusted refund amount.
For added convenience bring your qualifying purchase into your local Dick’s Sporting Goods retail location for a return or exchange. Your local Dick’s Sporting Goods retail location CANNOT process returns to Bill Me Later or Pay Pal. Credit will be placed on a merchandise card for these returns.
Returning an ItemThe packing slip in your package will contain detailed return instructions for all returnable items. Below are the return options for most items:

Returning an Oversized Item
Items are considered to be oversized if they are heavier than 70 pounds. For instructions on arranging freight delivery pickup for your item please contact a Customer Service Agent at 1.877.846.9997.
You will be refunded shipping charges on Oversized Item returns if the item arrives defective or damaged or if the incorrect item was shipped. Click here for information on returning damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
You will NOT be refunded shipping charges on Oversized Items that are returned due to buyer’s remorse. Please note shipping charges can be expensive for Oversized Items.
Follow these steps to return an Oversized Item:
- Contact a Customer Service Agent at 1.877.846.9997
- Pack new and unused item securely in the original packaging, whenever possible including all paperwork, parts and accessories.
- Complete the Return Reason Form on the packing slip and enclose with your return
- Remove all extra labels from the outside of the package.

- All packaged item(s) must be at the front door for the freight driver.
- To receive a refund, items must be returned within 90 days of delivery.
- You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase, within 30 days of our receiving the returned order.
- Refund for gift returns will be issued to the original purchaser.

Warranty information is included with many products or may be found on the manufacturer’s websites. Due to restrictions on accepting warranty returns, please contact a Dick’s Sporting Goods Customer Service Agent at 1.877.846.9997 prior to returning any merchandise for warranty considerations.
Customized / Personalized Items and Autographed Collectibles

Perishable Items

Bats/Golf Clubs/Lacrosse and Hockey Sticks, Shafts and Heads
Once packaging as been removed returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the manufacturer. Please refer to your product documentation and contact the Manufacturer directly for these issues.
Per discretion of the manufacturer the warranty may be found void if item was determined to be abused or altered in any way.
Please have the following information readily available before calling manufacturer for return authorization:
- Model Number
- Proof of Purchase
- Date Purchased
- Location Purchased
Software and Electronic Media Items
Once the packaging has been removed from any software or electronic media purchase the item can no longer be returned and the return policy is void.
Software and electronic media items include:
- CD-ROMs
- Computer Games
- Software
- VHS Tapes
Additional Items not eligible for returns
- Firearms and ammunition (not sold via DicksSportingGoods.com)
- Gas and Electric Scooters if package is open or factory seal has been broken
