Not all stories about store returns are negative. This month Toys “R” Us is doing some good for returning items to their stores.
Toys “R” Us is urging parents to rid their homes of potentially unsafe or old baby gear and furniture during their “Great Trade-In” event. During the event parents can trade-in cribs, car seats, bassinets, strollers, high chairs, infant swings, bouncers, travel systems, walkers, entertainers, play years and beds in exchange for a 25% discount on new items. “R” Us credit card holders will receive an additional 5%.
Don’t have any items to return to Toys “R” Us or Babies “R” Us? Visit the “Great Trade-In” page for a 15% coupon for new gear or furniture.
The program runs from February 1 to February 29 at all 863 stores.
Trade-in items do not need a receipt or even need to be from Toys “R” Us or Babies “R” Us. The program has helped remove 1.1 million potentially unsafe items from homes.
