cell phone return

Purchased a cell phone on 11/28/18. After looking at the phone and reading the booklet I decided that it was too complicated for me. When I tried to return the phone at the Streamwood IL store I was told they could not return it because it had been opened. Of course it was opened, how could I review the phone and booklet in a closed box! Although I had a receipt they still would not issue my credit. The return policy is very vague, stating they can refuse it if an item is opened does not specify phones so this is now up to the store to decide what qualifies to be returned. After speaking with customer service they are supposed to escalate to senior person for review. Extremely poor customer service. System requires a rating, the 1 is too high.

Crappy TVs, Do not buy from here

Bought a TV from target just over a year ago and already had to spend 200 to fix a hardware issue, now there is dead pixels right in the middle and so the manufacturer warranty is gone and target also won't replace. Never waste your money, go somewhere with quality products for sale.

An Ugly Sweater

We've all received an unwanted article of clothing as a gift. In this case, I received a very ugly, very brown sweater. It's as if before being given the sweater my friend decided to use it as a mud guard on his not-so-large truck. Upon arriving at the Target return counter, I was greeted with a friendly, warm smile. I explained my situation. She looked over my receipt and had no trouble processing my return. "Would you like that in cash or back on the card, sir?" She asked. Lucky for me, I happen to own a very respectable debit card. She returned the money electronically and it somehow ended up back on the card. By magic, I assume.

Wonderful Service

I recently went hunting on a long awaited trip. Sometimes it is difficult to get “drawn” to go hunting in the state. Finally we were successful in the draw. I knew I needed some new camo gear for the trip so I went online to Target to look around. I easily found what I was looking for and placed an order for two camo shirts that would work well for hunting. Of course right before the trip I got pressed for time and didn’t get a change to try the shirts on. I simply put them in my pack with the tags still attached. When I arrived at camp I took the shirts out and realized my mistake. I had purchased fitted shirts. I really don’t like fitted shirts. I decided not to even put them on. When I returned home from the trip I made a visit to Target to return the shirts. Even though it was my mistake Target gladly accepted the return. Guess I need to look closer next time when ordering!

Returning Jacket

I purchased a jacket from target with some other accessories. The jacket was a gift to one of my friends, so since it was a gift i had decided to remove the tags on it. Once my friend saw the jacket she said it was her size and it fit. Well a few days later maybe a week or so she called me saying the jacket did not fit. So we tried returning it with no tags, thankfully i still had the receipt in my car. Returning the jacket was easy with no conflicts, which i was surprised since other retail stores make a big fuzz regarding the tags. only issue i had was the wait. I believe they should have more than one person attending returns.

Returning Shoes

I bought my son a pair of shoes. He tried them on in the store and they seemed to fit okay. After a few days of wearing them he had terrible blisters on his heels and the side of his little toe. I wasn't sure if they'd let me return them. He's only two years old, and he plays outside a lot. It only takes a few minutes for his shoes to look very dirty and worn. But when I took them to the service counter, they were very nice and gave me a store credit even though I'd lost the receipt. We were able to find a pair that fit him better.
