Adams offers a special Christmas Returns Policy. If for any reason you are not satisfied with any item bought as Christmas Gifts from the  website after the 1st of December 2013, you may return them to us up until the 31st of January 2014 for an exchange or refund provided that the item is returned to us in its original condition. Please ensure to quote your order number on all correspondence.

Please note, when returning an item for a refund/exchange we are unable to reimburse the return postage charge.

I have worn my item. Can I still return it?

The item must be in its original packaging, with the relevant tags still in place and in a condition that would enable us to sell the item to someone else as new. In the case of shoes, this means they must not have been worn outside. In the case of underwear and swimwear, the item must not have been worn.

Can I return an item to one of your stores?

Unfortunately not. If you wish to return an item, please follow the process “I want to return an item”.

Do I have to pay to return the item?

If you are returning an item because it is faulty or we have sent you the wrong item then the cost of returning the item is our responsibility. We will refund the cost of postage.

If you change your mind after purchasing an item, the cost of return postage will be payable by you.

You have refunded the wrong amounth3>

When we calculate the amount to refund you, we take into account:

– Any vouchers or promotions in the original purchase

If you think we have incorrectly calculated the refund amount, please contact our billing department on information@adams.co.uk and provide us with your order id and details of what you think the refund should be.

Why have you not refunded the delivery charge?

We only refund the delivery charge (P&P charge you originally paid to have the order delivered to you) if:

– You have returned an item which is faulty

How do I start shopping at adams kids

Welcome to adams kids! Shopping at adams kids is easy and simple. The following guidelines have been provided to help you shop online.

The top of the site contains the key areas of the site.  Click on any one of these sections to begin your shopping experience.  For example, click on girls.  You will be taken to girls main page and here you will see the main product categories and any offers available.  To view girls tops, simply click on tops.  You will then be taken to the product list page, which displays all girls tops.

The menu on the left hand side is designed to help guide you through your shopping experince at adams kids.  You can browse by offer, by season, by age, by price and so on.  Click on any one of these areas to narrow your search.  Click on a picture to go to the product detail page, where you can find further information about the product.  Select a size and then click on the ‘add to basket’ button to buy that item.  To go back to the previous page you were on, click on the ‘back’ button. Or you can continue to navigate the site by clicking on other sections.

To view your bag at any time whilst shopping at adams kids, simply click on the shopping bag link at the top right corner of your screen.

When was Adams relaunched

Adams Online was relaunched on a brand new platform in August 2010. The business is trading stronger than ever and we are offering new collections every month.

Can I change my order?

Unfortunately we are not able to make changes to the order after you have placed it. If you no longer wish to receive the goods please return them to us for a refund.

Can I cancel my order?

You can request that the order be cancelled and we will do our best to prevent the order being shipped. However it is not always possible to stop an order once it has been placed. If your order has been despatched, you will need to return the goods ( see “I want to return an item”) .

Can I purchase a gift voucher. Can it be used to buy goods online?

In November 2012, we have introduced the facility for customers to buy Gift vouchers online. When you purchase a gift voucher from us online, we will send you an email with a gift voucher which can be forwarded to whomever you wish to gift to.

Gift vouchers are valid for a year and can be used to purchase any product from the site.

My login details and or password dont work

If you are having difficulty logging in. Click on “my account” at top of the page. This will take you to the login page, where you can enter your email address on “Forgotten your password” and click submit.  The system will automatically send you an email with details of resetting the password.
