iBuyOfficeSupply.com will accept returns for any unopened, unused product within 30 days of your order.  It is important that all original packaging be included to qualify for a refund. Product must be in new and salable condition as it was received.  Shipping costs are non-refundable.

There are some items which do not qualify for refunds.  They are:  Electronics (camcorders, televisions, etc.), assembled or installed furniture, food/beverages, custom orders (including large quantity, specially priced quoted orders) and medicines such as aspirin, and some dated goods (calendars, planners, etc.). HON and Basyx furniture products shipped from HON are not returnable.

Return Procedure

Important: We must have the following information to complete your Return Authorization:

– Order Number
– Item/Item number of the product(s) you’d like to return
– Quantity of items you’d like to return
– Return reason – Defective, Damaged, Wrong Item, etc.
– Condition of the products (opened or unopened)

Damage Claims or Shortages Important Notice:  Any claims for damage and/or shortages MUST be reported in 48 hours without exception.  Be sure to check your deliveries upon receipt.

We will reply to your request within one business day with a Return Authorization Number and instructions on where to ship your return.  Please do not ship products to our Customer Service location. Instead be sure to ship to the warehouse included with your RA email.

When shipping returns to the warehouse it is our suggestion that you use a carrier providing proof of delivery such as UPS or FedEx.

We will not accept a return without an RA.

Please allow up to 21 days for returns to be processed and credit issued.  Why up to 21 days?  Because we must wait for the product to arrive at one of our warehouses.  They must not just receive it, they must check it in, make sure it’s in resalable condition, do the paperwork for the return.  Then that information needs to be filtered back to our accounting department where they go throw normal accounting procedures and then return your payment.  Simply put, we wish there were a faster and more efficient way to do this but given that our warehouses process thousands of orders per day it’s just the way it’s got to be.

 

You pay for shipping when returning products.  We will pay for return shipping only when products delivered are defective, damaged or the wrong product was received from what was ordered.  Reports of damaged items, wrong items or defective items must be made within 48 hours of receipt of shipment.

We accept returns for up to 30 days.

Any unopened item may be returned for credit (shipping is at the customer’s cost). All original packaging and contents must be included to receive credit for returned products.

Some products are ordered direct from the manufacturer (shredders, office machines, office furniture, etc – manufacturers include Fellowes, GBC, Martin Yale, HON Balt, Acco, Mayline, Eurotech, Nightingale, Sentry, Fireking, Safco and other large office machines and furniture items).  Returns to some of these manufacturers can incur a restocking fee (the percentage depends on the manufacturer) – be sure to inquire with customer service if you have a question about this before ordering.  HON and Basyx products are not returnable. It is very important that you contact us first if there are problems with office machines, shredders or similar products before simply returning them. Special orders for custom products and large quantity one time orders shipped from manufacturers are not returnable if they have been made to fulfill a specific order request by a customer.  If you are unsure of return policy on a product call 866-568-0524 before ordering to get clarification as each manufacturer has a different return policy.
