If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, the following conditions apply on returns and refunds:

  • If the item(s) is/are unopened, they may be returned for a full refund, minus shipping costs. ikan does not reimburse for shipping costs on items that were shipped out at the end-user’s request, unless it is a clear and unquestionable case of manufacturer shipping error. Refunds will be issued in the same manner in which they were first submitted:
  • Orders paid by check must first clear the issuing bank before any refund can be issued. This may take up to 10 business days.
  • Orders paid by credit card will not be refunded until we have received the returned product. Please allow approximately 7-10 business days for the credit to appear back on your card from the date that we receive your product.
  • If the item(s) is/are opened, they must be returned and tested prior to refund and a restocking fee of 15% will apply.
  • If the item(s) is/are opened and it has been more than 15 days since the receipt of product, ikan reserves to right to charge a restocking fee of 25% or to refuse the return altogether.

International Returns and Refunds:

  • The customer is responsible for paying all customs’ duties, tax charges & carrier brokerage fees for the product.
  • All shipping charges will not be refunded, including any shipping charges for returning the product.
  • If the product is refused upon delivery, ikan will deduct any additional ship back charges and customs charges from the refund.
  • If the item(s) is/are opened and it has been more than 15 days since the receipt of product, ikan reserves to right to charge a restocking fee of 25% or to refuse the return altogether.
  • If the item(s) is/are opened, they must be returned and tested prior to refund and a restocking fee of 15% will apply.

Process for returning an item(s):

  • All returns must be issued a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).
  • An RMA can be requested by calling ikan at 1-713-272-8822.
  • The item(s) will need to be placed into a carton, packed securely and then sent back. Please do not place stickers or writing on the product packaging. On the outer box, please write the RMA # in clear, legible writing that will be immediately visible.

Rules for returning an item(s):

  • ikan is not responsible for additional pieces mistakenly sent in with returned product (ex: BNC adaptors on monitors, extra cords, different power cords etc.)
  • All returned or exchanged items must be in new condition, in their original box, and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and all accessories.
  • RMA numbers are valid for 14 days.
  • ikan is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise. We are responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only.

No Exchanges/Returns on:

  • Consumables or expendables (bulbs, gaffer tape, gels, tape stock) once they have been unwrapped and/or clearly used.
  • Clearance items, used items, consignment items or C-Stock items.
