Online Return Policy

Eligible items may be returned within 365 days of delivery either via mail (at the customer’s shipping expense) or at one of our store locations.

  • Items must be in new and unused condition
  • Products are to be placed back in their original packaging
  • All original tags, instructions and accessories that came with the original shipment need to be included with the return


Non-returnable items include:

  • Custom and personalized items
  • Special order items
  • Undergarments
  • Swimsuits
  • Hosiery


Easy 2-Step Return Process

1. Obtain an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization)

  • To obtain an RMA number, find the order you wish to return
  • Use our Order Lookup Tool, or log in to your Account and view your Order History
  • Once you’ve located your order, select the checkbox for the item(s) you wish to return and click the “Return Item” button
  • You will receive an email with detailed instructions on how and where to return your order

2. Ship the items being returned back to or bring them to a store
Once you have your email with the RMA number and return instructions, you are ready to ship your order back for a refund (minus your original shipping charge) or take the order to a store.

Returning items by mail:

  • Send your order back to the address given in the return email
  • Make sure to write the RMA number on the OUTSIDE of the carton, next to the “ship to” address
  • Send the order using a traceable form of shipment such as FedEx, UPS, Certified or Priority Mail

Returning items in a store:

  • To help make your shopping experience more convenient, returns are permitted at any of our store locations
  • To find the store closest to you, click here to view our store locator
  • Certain items cannot be returned to a store; see the list of special exceptions below

Returning incorrect or damaged items:

  • If you received the incorrect product, or if the product you received is damaged, please contact 1-800-ASK-MODELLS and a Customer Service Representative will gladly assist you and rectify the problem. Follow the prompts for online orders/returns.
  • Please note – you will have 365 days from delivery of the product to contact Modell’s for a return.


Special Returns Exception

Please contact Customer Service at 1-800-ASK-MODELLS prior to returning any Special Exception items. These items are not returnable in stores.

The following items have Special Return Exceptionss:

  • Treadmills
  • Elliptical machines
  • Exercise bikes
  • Ping pong tables
  • Swagtron
  • Fitbit

Please Note: A restocking fee of 10% will be charged. (This fee is waived if the manufacturer deems the product to be defective / unrepairable.) The buyer is responsible for shipping cost to return the product. (Return shipping will be waived if the manufacturer deems the product to be defective / unrepairable.) If major shipping damage occurs, please refuse the delivery and contact us at 1-800-ASK-MODELLS.
