Shipping Offer Exclusions:

Exclusions apply to all Shipping Offers including Free Shipping, Ground Shipping and Express Shipping. Shipping delivery estimate applies to orders being shipped to the continental USA only. Shipping Offers cannot be applied to purchases being shipped to US Territories, APO/FPO or international addresses. Free Shipping offers only apply Domestic Ground Shipping and orders shipped within the continental USA. Offer may not be combined with any other offers, discounts or coupons. The minimum purchase amount for each Shipping Offer does not include purchases of gift cards or tax. Offer applies to orders shipped to one (1) location. Due to size and/or weight, certain items bear a shipping surcharge, which will still apply. When shipping to multiple addresses, only shipping to the first address will qualify for the Shipping Offer. Offer does not apply to returns or previously placed orders.

Promo Codes Exclusions:

Exclusions apply to all offers that require a Promo Code. Promo Codes can only be applied to orders shipped within the continental USA. Promo Codes cannot be applied to purchases being shipped to US Territories, APO/FPO or international addresses. Return Policy

Your satisfaction is important to us, and we realize that in some instances, you may need to return your order.

The New York Times Store accepts returns on most items only within 30 DAYS of when your order shipped. We will issue a refund via the original form of payment for the item purchase price, plus tax.

If the item was damaged or lost during shipping to you, we will send you a replacement after a shipping claim is filed. Original packaging is necessary for filing the claim.

Shipping and handling fees will be refunded ONLY if the return is due to our error (e.g. wrong product sent), or if the merchandise was damaged or lost during shipping.

Some customized and special purchase items cannot be cancelled or returned. These include:

  • Personalized products, which are keepsakes, commemoratives or page reprints for a specific date or recipient. Because they are personalized, all sales are final.
  • Vintage Watches from The Watch Society

 

How to Return an Item

In order to return an eligible item, follow the steps below:

  1. Contact The New York Times Store at nytstore.support@nytimes.com or 1-800-671-4332 for return instructions.
  2. Any item $500 or more returned with no issue (such as damage, defects or shipped in error) will incur a $25 re-stocking fee.
  3. In order to receive a refund:
    1. Merchandise must be returned, undamaged, in original carton and packaging, and securely sealed.
    2. The shipping carton must be returned to address provided and include original packing slip or documentation that describes your reason for return. This will assist our Customer Service Center in processing your return more quickly.
    3. Item must be returned with any Certificate of Authenticity or original documentation originally included.

A return must be packed carefully. All merchandise is considered to belong to you until we receive it back in satisfactory condition. For your own protection, we suggest that you insure your package with the U.S. Postal Service or Federal Express and that you request a confirmation of delivery or tracking number from the shipper.

Shipping Fees

We cannot be held responsible for any fees or charges associated with the return of your order, including but not limited to postage, shipping, international duties, taxes, return freight, and refused shipment return charges.
