What is your return policy?

Answer: All merchandise purchased from Orvis has the Orvis 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. We will refund your money on any purchase that isn’t 100% satisfactory. Anytime, for any reason. It’s that simple. For more details, learn more about the Orvis 100% satisfaction guarantee.

How do I return merchandise to Orvis?

Answer: Returning it is easy, fast, and simple. You ship us back your items. Include the “Return and Exchange Form” found on the back of your packing slip, and use the UPS Convenient Return Label attached to the packing slip included with your order. We’ll simply deduct $6.95 from your refund! Refer to our return merchandise instructions for more details.

Are there any special forms I need to include with my return?

Answer: You’ll need to include the “Return and Exchange Form” found on the back of your packing slip and use the UPS Convenient Return Label.

To what address do I send my returns?

Answer: Returns of all Orvis clothing and gift and home items should be shipped to:

Do you have address labels I can use for returns?

Answer: A UPS Convenient Return Label is attached to the packing slip included with your order. If you can’t find the UPS Convenient Return Label, then simply contact Customer Service and we’ll send you a duplicate UPS Convenient Return Label. Or you can print a Return and Exchange Form and non-prepaid Return Shipping Label now.

Do you have a preferred carrier?

Answer: Orvis includes a UPS Convenient Return Label with your order. If you prefer to use the USPS, you can access a USPS label to print at home here. The same $6.95 charge applies, and it will be deducted from your refund. Again, be sure to include the Return and Exchange form in your return.

Concerning my return: Can I exchange it for other merchandise, or can I obtain a refund?

Answer: You can do either one. You can use the “Return and Exchange Form” that was enclosed with your order to exchange your original item for other merchandise. Or, you can request a refund. Be sure to include proof of purchase—returns made without a proof of purchase will receive an Orvis gift card in the amount of the lowest sale price of the merchandise returned.

Can you credit the value of my return to a different purchase?

Answer: While we are unable to credit the value of your return to a different purchase, we will gladly send you an Orvis gift card in the amount of your return which you can then use on our website or at any Orvis retail store.

Can I return merchandise to an Orvis retail store or outlet, even if I didn’t purchase it from there?

Answer: Yes! Any Orvis non-furniture or non-oversized item can be returned for a full refund to any of our Retail Stores, our Customer Service CentersOutlets, or any of our Orvis Dealers worldwide. We will refund your money on any purchase that isn’t 100% satisfactory anytime for any reason—it’s that simple.

Can I return furniture or other oversized merchandise?

Answer: Yes! Our furniture and oversized items are covered by the same 100% satisfactory guarantee as the rest of our merchandise. Here’s the process to follow in returning furniture and oversized merchandise.

It is important that you inspect your product when receiving it for any visible tears or damage in packaging prior to the trucking company unpacking or leaving. If found, open package immediately and inspect product thoroughly for any damages. Customers should refuse delivery of any damaged product with trucking company and note the reasons for refusal on the delivery paperwork.

Contact Orvis Customer Service immediately at             1-888-815-5900       to initiate your return. Customer will receive full refund including shipping/handling charges for any damaged or defective product.

Orvis will accept large furniture/oversized returns for merchandise that is not damaged or defective and refund your money on any purchase that isn’t 100% satisfactory. If the returned merchandise is not damaged or defective, then all original shipping/handling charges and surcharges on your order are non-refundable. A refund will be given for the full price of the merchandise less any shipping/handling surcharges for the item being returned.

For best service, please call our Customer Service at             1-888-815-5900       to arrange for your large furniture/oversized merchandise to be returned to the Orvis Service Center in Roanoke, VA.

Can bathing suits be returned?

Answer: For fitting purposes, your swimsuit is equipped with a removable hygienic liner, which is your assurance that your suit has been inspected by our apparel experts and is safe.

Please do not remove this liner until you are certain that a return will not be necessary. Provided that the hygienic liner is still in place, you can exchange your swimsuit for a different size or return the suit for a full credit or refund if you are not completely satisfied.
